Rhum Agricole des Antilles - 40% vol. - 70cl
This collector's cuvée offers a blend of agricultural rums that have been aged in specially selected new oak barrels by the master cellarmaster of Rhum Clément, a producer since 1887 in Martinique. This agricultural rum stands out for its vanilla aromas and great smoothness on the palate.

Since 2002, Rhum Clément has supported the three-masted Belem by offering the traditional punch planteur to trainees, who celebrate the end of their stay on the ship in a festive manner. The history of the Belem is closely linked to the Antilles and Martinique, which was one of the destinations during the Belem's 33 commercial campaigns. For the chocolate maker Menier, the Belem would load sugar and rum from the Antilles, in addition to Brazilian cocoa, which is why it was referred to as "Antillais." The Belem is also a survivor of the Antilles. On May 7, 1902, the captain of the Belem, Chauvelon, arrived in the harbor of Saint-Pierre. The Belem's usual spot was already occupied by the Tamaya, another Antillean ship, forcing Chauvelon to anchor on the other side of the island. On May 8, 1902, the entire city of Saint-Pierre and the anchored ships in its harbor vanished during the eruption of Montagne Pelée. All except the Belem and its crew, who emerged unscathed from this terrible disaster.

The Clément house has built its reputation on its famous AOC aged rums, making it one of the leading producers in Martinique. In the four cellars of Habitation Clément, thousands of liters of rum are patiently aged for a minimum of three years, destined for tomorrow's enthusiasts.
